Why this name?
My performance name since highschool has been "Enroutetome", meaning on the way to myself. I chose this name because I see myself as a child of God and have realized that its hard work to live in God's grace. I need to try to be a better person now so that I can help others better in the future. I still carry the same humble attitude, but have very boldly claimed the title of "NYC's Finest" as my current stage name.
Do you play live?
All the time, especially in Freeport and especially on the Nautical Mile in the summer.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's great for increasing the exposure of my music! My friends and I have been working on a webseries based on the professional studio/ label established by me and my brother Smiley Chris. Check it out! Google "Whatz Good Studios" and /or "Whatz Good Entertainment."
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
no

Your influences?
I love the Fort Minor project by Mike Shinoda. The effeciently effective electronic sound in addition to his heart-felt lyrics and awesome use of the voices of piano and strings in the album serve as a standard in my mind for the type of hip hop music I'd one day like to produce.
I also like most music that has been on Radio Disney in the last couple years especially the Disneymania albums which include an awesome remake of "A Whole New World."

Anything else...?
I used to record songs in my attic. I think the only cd I really listened to during that time had music by the legend Bob Marley...HMM now that I think of it, i KIND OF LIVED LIKE WILL SMITH in "LEGEND" (living ALONE AND CHILLAXIN TO BOB mARLEY.) There is no doubt that both WILL SMITH AND BOB mARLEY influenced mY MUSICal style!!!!
