Us ( United Souls) is a collaboration of two people attempting to find a voice within the realms of music and words. Through an expression of individual ideas and experiences we find an outlet for our feelings and thoughts and through this endeavour we join forces to create, and in so doing, that very creation becomes Us.

Why this name?
We wanted to call ourselves 'Us' and to most people that is how we're known. But we think there is another band with the same name so we took the U and the S and became United Souls.
Do you play live?
Mainly it's just writing and recording.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Makes it possible to get your music out there for people to hear, which is all any musician really wants.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If the deal was right.
Band History:
We've known each other for many years but only recently did we try working together on some musical ideas I had, and voila, 'Us' was born.
Your influences?
Blues, soul, funk and jazz plus a bit of classical and folk thrown in for good measure. Also love the country sound and have written a few songs which can be found at

Favorite spot?
The top of Holyhead Mountain, Isle of Anglesey.
Equipment used:
Old Mac G3 running Cubase, Roland keyboard, Korg TR-rack, Drawer MX 60 and Soundlink mixer plus pod with Fender strat and Taylor guitar and assorted mic's.
