We are two rappers who are sick of you commercial rappers talking about your cars, money, and your bi***es. We know ya'll got nice things cause we bought them for you when we purchased your album thinking ya'll would have more to talk about then the same old shit. We are tired of line after line of weak ass lyrics and lame punchline rhymes. Colabo did a year in prison and read nothing but a Websters dictionary.Byrd did 6mths at the same time doing the same shit. If you ain't got a high vocabulary that stretches past everyday words, then you shouldn't be making albums. We promiss ya'll nothing but originality and versitality verse after verse after verse. Every song we switch up rhyme scheemes.Colabo loves the beats to build up by continously changing the sounds of the rhythem until it builds up like a fukn grand finalle at the end of most songs. Many songs we make take off from the get go with nothin but lyrics. We feel some of our songs are so hard they don't need a catchy chorus to make up for the lack of intelligence displayed throughout the rest of the song(like Nelly). And our delivery...HA Let's not go there!Let's just quit readin this stupid sh*** about us and just download the shit!
Why this name?
Colabo is short for colaboration. Never could I keep the same style throughout every song, hell..I can't even keep it the same from verse to verse.I gotta stay fresh and flex on ya'll.One minute I cram a big phrase into a small bar, the next I'm layed back. It's hard to explain here but I'll never come off wack. And Byrd is short for J Byrd cause that's who he is.We both work on our own sh*** on the solo. But we're best friends so are group name is named after us.I know it ain't catchy but we cant stand ya'll catchy lame asses that call yourselves rap "artists".We are "ARTISTS".
Do you play live?
NO, Because there isn't enough places to perform at.And when there is a show for local groups it's usually put together by lame rappers who we could not associate ourselves with. You feel me!I mean nobody is original around here except for Macy Grey and she ain't even rappin. They all try to be something they are not,and I refuse to be on stage with those lames.
If you make it big..?
Then we'll have a big bank account. And a nice house and cars and women. But we won't change a bit!Never will we sell out to some commercial love music or some lame ass shit.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
For people like us who aren't from California or New York or Down South, it gives us the oppurtunity to share the way we feel rap should be.We're from Canton Ohio, home of the NFL Hall of Fame and that's it.We don't have a big record label around hear looking for us so we use the internet in hopes that we will be discovered and unvailed to the public in a raw and uncut fashion. So far Marilyn Manson and Macy Grey are the two biggest stars from this town and we are glad that they put Canton on the munsic industries map(Even though we don't care for their music) and showed the world that Canton has got potential as a rap industry city.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
As long as they don't try to take us for all we're worth we would be stupid not to sign with a major label. But we would rather sign our label as a whole under a major label(like them Hot Boys that we can't stand!!)
Band History:
Colabo and Byrd met in junior high in band class. We were both drummers(which is why our beats are rediculouslly sickining!)WE have been best friends since.Colabo spent a year in prison at the same time Byrd was doing six months. We both wrote verses and sent them back and forth during that "vacation".When we got out we bought enough equipment to create, record, and package the music and that's been it.We did Digital Rhyme Scheme one night after we cane home from the club salty about all the wack sh*** that is being played these days. It was a freestyle and we took out the wack sh*** and kept the good.Skipped the bullshit cheesy chorus nonsence and got right to the point and finished the song. We did the song for the purpose of displaying it on the net and that was it.When we saw how many people were downloading us off of rapstation.com we made some copies and put them in a few stores, and within a week all 100 copies sold out.We laugh every day at the sales and the downloads from this song because we did it for this exact reason."If rappers can come out with some bullshit"we said to ourselfs, "then we'll do a song with no time involved at all and make it sell better than these fake ass rappers out.And so far every single copie I make sells out. This is halarious to us because this song was a fukn joke and that was it, Now I'm paying my rent off the shit.So just wait till we hit heads with the real deal.Digital Rhyme Scheme is a joke compared to the traks that we haven't put out on the net!I guess I don't trust the net.The last thing we want is to hear one of our beats on a HOT BOYS song or some shit. Then we'll have to become violent and ya'll don't want that believe me yo!

Favorite spot?
South West Canton Ohio
Equipment used:
That's our secret and we plan to keep it like that ya'll!
Anything else...?
FLATOUT.....We are underground rap. You'll find that our beats progress throughout each song and the instruments keep comin and comin till it's like a fukn grand finalle of raw ass sound at the end of MOST songs.Sometimes we don't spend much time on the beat beacause we want you to surcum to our lyrics instead. Some songs don't have chorus's. We don't need a catch phrase to make up for lame lyrics because we don't spit wack shit.
Oh Yea...I almost forgot to mention that we are white!
PEACE!!!
