Shadow Dance (aka Shadow Play) was started in the year 2005 as a solo project for David Haught of Culpeper, Virginia after the dissolution of his first recording project. Going through periods of activity and inactivity throughout the years, the moniker was never completely dissolved or retired, and has since resurfaced in recent times. In 2009, Dawn Jurado of Kodiak, Alaska was added to the roster to officially make Shadow Dance a joint collaboration between two artists who love music. David & Dawn have since become a couple, which further established the relationship musically as well, and they will soon be recording together. No matter where their travels and adventures take them, Shadow Dance is here to stay!!!

Probably the music we listen to influences us the more than anything. Another big thing is everyday life, but shouldn't that be expected?
