We are a new Alternative Rock band based in the United Kingdom. We were officially born in Birmingham, UK about 2 years ago.

The demo you will find here, was not supposed to be anything more than just a set of songs we could listen to on our way to and from work and university. It turned out to be something greater than that...

People started loving our songs and the demand for our music started increasing quickly! Thus, we thought we would release this demo and see what the rest of the world thinks...

Furthermore, we have many more good ideas and we do love playing and writing songs. Our songs have themes anybody can relate to and we want our music to be simple, honest and from the heart.

We hope that you enjoy listening to our songs as much as we enjoyed writing them and recording them. Please send us your comments and any feedback you may have, and if you want spread the word...!!!
Why this name?
The themes of our songs range from Denial, Dreams, Destruction to Desperation, Death and Drugs - all those wonderfully inspirational words that start with the letter "D" - hence the name of the band "LINES OF D".
Do you play live?
We have played a couple of times live and we just loved it. We just know that this is what we want to do in life!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Artists are able to communicate directly with their fans, promote their material without the hassle of labels and target a wider audience.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, I guess in the end, the major labels play an important role when it comes to marketing and promotion worldwide.
Band History:
October 2003 - The band is born in Aston-Birmingham, UK.

November 2004 - Our first Demo CD is released.

February 2005 - We are preparing our new material, in between work and university. We promise that the new Demo is going to be even better than the first one!
Your influences?
From the Beatles to Bon Jovi and from Metallica to Pearl Jam and everything in between. We all come from different musical backgrounds...
Favorite spot?
London and Athens, no doubt!
Equipment used:
The Demo was recorded on a laptop, using Cakewalk and Magix Music Maker. To finish it off we put some of our own magic!
Anything else...?
We are interested in your comments and feedback, even if that's negative. Without your help we will never become better and mature...
