Welcome to the weird world of Vision Thing. The band as it is represented on this page no longer exists. Read on...
Why this name?
We can't tell all our secrets!
Do you play live?
No, the band is no longer together.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It helps get music to people who don't like tv or radio.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No, because there is no band to sign a contract!
Band History:
Vision Thing was formed in the early spring of 2004. It was a highly experimental band, and the first musical recording project for two best friends. But conflicting interests causing internal conflict between the two eventually split them up. This page is merely a "tribute" to the band, and features a joke song from their brief reunion in February of 2005 called "The Lava Song". The other songs are all older songs from the band's original incarnation. For more music from the ex-members of Vision Thing, please check out CHS or Shadow Dance.
Your influences?
Nine Inch Nails, KMFDM, The Prodigy, David Bowie, Orgy, The Sisters Of Mercy, The Cure, Type O Negative, Ministry, Fear Factory, and Enya, just to name a few.
Favorite spot?
Culpeper
Equipment used:
Audacity recording software, assorted drum machine software, Blueridge acoustic guitars, Squier and BC Rich bass guitars, Casio and Yamaha keyboards.
Anything else...?
We hope you like the noise! (but if you hate it, we dont kare; you probably suck anyway.)
