We are a virtual band putting our music together via ther internet.

Do you play live?
As a virtual band it is impossible to fill clubs or other venues simply because we can never play live. We are a virtual band, web based only. Without the internet, there is no BadHands
If you make it big..?
Instrumental Rock is not as popular as it was in the early sixties when the various surf bands created some very memorable music. Our idea of making it big is to produce the music for a movie or TV show. Background music sets the mood for other entertainment media, and we feel that BadHands can uniquely fill that position.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet makes it possible for creative people to find an outlet for that creativity, and gives them the opportunity to manage their futures, good or bad, on their own.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Major record deals are the musicians fantasy. All the problems of the world will be solved if only...
Of course we would sign with a major label, but we believe that we've matured enough, both as musicians and businessmen to understand that no matter how beneficial a major contract might be, it is not the golden key to success. Lots and lots of one hit wonders were signed to major labels.
Your influences?
The music of BadHands is instrumental Jam/Funk Rock. Influences run the gamut, from Count Basey to Pink Floyd. What we really produce is a unique blend of power/pop, big band instrumental rock. Some songs have a country flavor, others more jazz, and the rest are just pure rock.
Anything else...?
AS AN ADDED NOTE: We have just recently been contacted by a University radio station in Bryansk, Russia requesting our songs for play on their ststion! How cool, BadHands in Russia!
