I havent been on the stage, but my instrumentals have.

I think people like Metallica and Dr. Dre don't reliese how great the internet is for music. They dont like Napster because its stealing. Well. Its promotion if anything. People that download the albums are most likely to buy it. That is a fact for me anyways. I would have never been a musician without napster, because without napster I would have never gotten into my Musical Influeneces. Also, bands dont lose money when people download full albums, because the alternative to "stealing" from the internet, is going to a record store and grabbing it without paying. Which means that CD would never make Profit, unless the thief sold it at a pawn shop. When you download from the internet, you get full exposure from the album and will most likely buy it later, and since you didnt steal the CD itself, theres one waiting on the shelf for your 7 - 17 bucks.

It depends, I want my own control, my own full control, if i ever sign. If theres a record label that will let me release albums on the internet for free, then i'd join it. If theres a record label that doesnt make me have interviews, I will join it. I think the Record Label should just make my CD Booklets and put my CD's on Shelves. Not tell me what I can do or what I cannot do.
