This is my music site where I've posted several original tunes that I'm working on. I hope that you enjoy the tunes.
Why this name?
It's my name.
Do you play live?
Yes. I play out whenever I can. I play with several different groups in the city where I live, doing casuals, playing for church services, whatever. I enjoy playing with other musicians as long as the music and the people that I'm playing with are fun. I also teach guitar on the weekends, and have been enjoying that quite a bit.
Lately, I've been doing some session work playing acoustic and electric guitars for various projects. This has been fun and challenging work. As I get permission from the artists who own this work I may post the songs or links to the artists pages.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet has made it possible for anyone and everyone to share their music with the world. In the past, before the internet, I used to share my songs by sending out cassette tapes of my home recordings to my friends. Now, I can post my songs on a site like this and share them with the whole world. I think that's great for musicians who don't have another means to distribute their material. It's also a great way to get feedback on your work by hearing from other people who are unbiased.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I'm not doing this to get a record deal. This is just a way for me to share my music with other people for my own enjoyment, and improve my writing and production skills.
Band History:
I've been playing music since I was 9, with various instruments. I've always loved music since I can remember. I started out plunking around with the piano, figuring out melodies and little chord grooves. Early on, I thought that my instrument was going to be the piano. But I discoverd the guitar when I was in 7th grade and was immediately facinated with it. I taught myself for about 1 year then I found a great Jazz guitarist and studied with him for several years. This is where I learned a lot about music in general, and developed an appreciation for Jazz. I kept playing through High School in various garage rock bands, and school Jazz band. In my college years I majored in Engineering, but I kept up my music studies with extra classes in Music Theory, Jazz Improvisation, and performing in Jazz ensembles. I also continued playing in various groups to help make some extra cash on the weekends doing everything from Rock, Dixie Land, Mex Tex, to Jazz Fusion.
Your influences?
I've liked a lot of different musicians over the years. If I had to make my list of the ones that influenced me the most by it would be :
The Beatles, Steely Dan, Pat Metheny, Johnny Winter, Larry Carlton, Santana.

Favorite spot?
I like the Southwestern U.S. This is where I grew up and I still love it here.
Equipment used:
I use a variety of guitars (Hamer Newport, Eric Clapton Strat, Ibanez Artcore box, Taylor 514CE ) to make my recordings which were all recorded in my small home studio using Cakewalk's Sonar software, and a Vox Tonelab for amp sounds.
Recently, I purchased a Line6 Variax 700 modeling guitar which has been quite useful for recording. I can get the sound of various electric and acoustic intruments with this guitar and I'm really enjoying playing it.
