One is about the peace in the world… the differences like that of religion, racial, and fanatic tendencies that has pulled the humane quality inside us to a zero level… have been brought in the light… to make a statement that this has not been done before would be an over statement but indeed the song is one that has been made with the courage and honesty to face this reality that is growing into a gruesome fear day-by-day. The song is dedicated to Pakistan-India peace.
The other video is of ‘Mil Tu Zara’ … a more head banging venture and is about love gone bad …? … the video is going to be a really hard one a treat for eyes… all you hard rockers get ready to feel the power of Anesthezia.

Chance has its own way of defining destiny. The product of one such decree is ‘ANESTHESIA’- a band that has managed to jut out of this perplexed panorama of local music scene.

Why this name?
adeel- i chose the name of the band cause someone who is closest to my heart said so!
shoaib- yes we had our concersn but he had a strict sense of loyalty to the name

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
adeel-well internet is really doing a great job... i mean the best part is that the exposure is easy, big and reliable!

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
adeel-yes definately... we would love that a lot of people listen to our music and a record contract would definately get us way ahead!
Band History:
Anesthesia is a placid fusion of modern day alternative rock with the mild contemporary pop. The band has experimental sound and has managed to fuse together the pop rock sound, which is not that hard on ears with heavy distortion and psychedelic effects.
The band has been endeavoring to bring out a balance between the heavier and lighter facets of music. The melodies and themes of the songs have been given special importance and they are associated with the strange mechanics that moves the fulcrum between man and fate
adeel call sig nEo heads the band-the confused shy guitarist currently pursuing his Mphil in English Literature is never satisfied with the quality of his work. This accounts for his ‘never say die approach’. He always wants to go a step further in his efforts. His guitar skills are self-taught and this has developed much more sharper sense of innovation in him. His knowledge and urge to know more about music is indeed impressive. Having played with acts like ‘Rock Attack’, ‘Alien-Ation’, and ‘Hades’; Adeel has been phenomenal with the stringed barrel
Joining Adeel is the powerhouse Shoaib with his ballistic vocals. This mercurial man makes sure that every performance is no less than 100 %. Ranging from classical to rock this man has it all. On stage his energy is infectious, engulfing everyone in its garb of vibrance. With a Masters degree in Mass Communication this young man has decided to make headlines in the music scene.
Joining the duo is the bass guru Aakash who also handles the keys and effects. Starting with ‘Ear Split’, he finally found his groove with the bass line of ANESTHEZIA. He relies mainly on smooth progressive bass. Apart from this, he handles the keys and manages the effect line up in the songs with nEo. With a degree in computers, this man is really hitting the number.
yasir handles the percussions and the drums... he is the latest entry in the band... he plays progressive and alternative styles! but displays complete improvistaion over other forsm as well!
