play lo-fi play hi-fi  Amazing
Well i been writing Rhymes for about a year or so, starting back in Early 2004-- and writing is no use if u cant spit it. So now i am recording songs.
Why this name?
Dirtstain- as corny as it sounds, is the only thing that i cant think of. It refers to the triangular birthmark on the lower right side of my chin. Kids back in the 5th grade was callin it a dirtstain and shit, and i kept it.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
of course there is the good and bad. without the internet, i would have never indulged in real hiphop and furthermore, never would have been able to record, etc. The internet kills the industry.....the artists---well, there's a mixup. Lots of Artists are screwed regardless, by the label that signs them. For some artists, the internet has only helped, and others hurt. meh.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
....maybe. i dont want to have to change my image or anything to sell records...and the industry is, and i quote from Mos Def, "...just a better built cell block"
Band History:
history--- i was introduced to real hiphop only about...less than 2 years ago. So i started writing, not seeing much progress....but after many late night cyphers and verses, i saw i was gettin better and better each time. So i kept writing and now its my only hobby-- rhyming/rapping.

i gotta give all my credit to Evan and Ritz, who taught me how to rhyme...and all the ill rappers continue to amazme me today and inspire me to rhyme.
