Dj Groove-moverz is Jeremy Stephens from the east of England
Why this name?
I originally called my self groovemaneuver but found there was already someone with that name and so i pondered and wondered and pondered a bit more and came up with Groove-moverz
Do you play live?
Primarily i run my own disco so i have played live but also i do a lot of private parties where i get to play my own stuff
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
People from all over the globe can listen to your music, that cant be bad !!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Im not sure really, i mean i would like to get out there and start playing more clubs but im quite happy with where i am at the mo
Your influences?
My main influences are dj's Miguel Migs and Seb fontaine, so from that i do House and trance music. I do find that when doing mobile discos i have to use a range of music including Pop / today R&B etc so really i have a catalogue to suit most needs.
Favorite spot?
Not sure really maybe Milton keynes or Romford
Equipment used:
The equipment i use isPioneer CMX 3000 professional mixing decks, they are perfect for DJ's who are starting out and great for dj's who know their stuff, with scratch facility, instant start 10 cue points, pitch bend, seemless looping, i could go on for ages. For discos they suit the bill fine too along with my other equiment. My disco setup comprises of 2 strobe lights 1 small laser, various spot coloured lights, fog machine and bubble machine, i am however looking into upgrading 1 or 2 items, for a more profesional look. I use a 300watt PA system 150 to each speaker which is more then enough for a small hall. My music collection, well its big and too much to mention here, but to put it short i can pretty much cater for any tastes
