Why this name?
Poetic License derives from Creative License meaning if you're an artist of some form, eg. poetry, you don't have to make sense. - Steve
Do you play live?
We haven't had any shows yet but we plan to in the future. - Steve
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I'm All for downloading mp3's. Sure the record companies lose money. But the record companies are dicks. - Steve
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No. They strip the band of they're dignity. - Steve

I rele dont care as long as people still want to listen to us - Nick (plus were not good enough for a record label but Shhhhhhhhhhh......)
Band History:
Well basicly Poetic License started with me (nick) and chris on day when we were talking about Xanga's (a weblog community). Chris and I will never truely reveal what was said during the conversation because it may be too disgusting for your virgin ears, but out of it came out magical name. "POETIC LICENSE". Poetic Licence was orginally a 3 man band, consiting of Me(guitar), Chris(bass), and Vin D'Amato (drums). But after we figured out Vin sucked at playing the drums and kicked him out (sorry Vin, lol) we began a search for a new drummer, and someone who sings better than I do. So along came Raina, And Steve. So most of the problem is solved. And besides Raina's voice is so good that we dont even need drums, hell we dont need any instruments. We should just let Raina sing for 45 minuites and call it a CD. But anyway. That is how we came up with Poetic License and how this wonderful band came to be. -Nick
