Why this name?
The meaning of the name "author" is as defined by my craft. NYSE is an acronym that means "New York State Eternal". My vibes are derived from New York states of mind that created this culture of hip-hop. My name is an homage to the birthplace of hip-hop, New York.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The introduction of the Mp3 music file format first introduced to me by Chuck D. is an absolute Godsend for all musicians. Music motivates and awakens the soul and such a feeling should not have a monitary value. Being able to freely distribute music to the masses without having to compromise the integrity of the artist and their sound to the blind masses makes the internet The Perfect Forum.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, but contracts are written agreement between that record label and an artist. If an amicable agreement can't be reach then why do I want to cut you into the profits of my talent?
