Lie Big are Guitarist Adrian Jones, Bassist Kevin Jones and singer Russell outlaw. Recently invigorated by working together again after years of inactivity, Lie Big released their debut album, 'Severed' in May 2007. The new material could be described as dark and menacing. The album features a re-recorded 'Overcome' which reached number 1 in the alternative metal chart on Soundclick.

Do you play live?
Currently missing the buzz of the live environment, Lie Big may yet become a live experience. We are currently looking for drummer to enable us to take up the many offers fo support slots and tours we have been offered since the release of Severed.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet is the future of music, more and more bands are releasing their own independant material and with the cost of music technology falling, many more bands are recording and producing their own music. This is the future, bands in total control of their own material and direction. If only we had this 10-15 years ago we would be on our 10th album at least.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Who wouldn't, if it was a fair contract? Not very likely though is it?
Band History:
Lie Big is is now, everything else is history. The new album, Severed, is very much a fresh start.

Everything... Jimmy page, Dave Gilmour, Alex Lifeson, Led Zeppelin, Soundgarden, Prodigy, Rush, BB King, Nine Inch Nails, Black Sabbath, Crowded House, Hendrix, Kings X, Nirvana, Floyd, Thin Lizzy, DH etc etc etc etc etc
Favorite spot?
The sofa in front of the hifi ......... and the home studio.......... Westen Cape, South Africa.... beautiful, or Leiden in the Netherlands, which is such a great place to live.
