'Emo'lation was created by the brother's Eric and Scott Paulissen in Las Vegas in late 2004. The goal was simply to come up with the worst parody band ever created. In order to to that, that took influences from all the worst bands they could think of: Slipknot, Slayer, SOAD, Cannibal Corpse and Otep.

Why this name?
We chose Immolation and thought it'd be funny to spell it with EMO. (It also helped to convey the fact that we are a parody band)
Do you play live?
We like to play in the bedroom.
Our special moment was when we came up with our first song. It was so horrible we had to record it.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it's a wonderful thing. It erally helps out the small guys, like us, in the industry.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Heck no... we'd never get signed for this crap.
