Joe D'Agostino is a fat, old, bald guy who has been making electronic music since BEFORE THERE WAS MIDI!
Why this name?
"Rick Wakeman" was already taken.
Do you play live?
Good Heavens, no.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Soon, it will be impossible for anyone to make a living by making music. Then, music will only be made by people who do it for love. And it will all suck.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No.
Band History:
I started making electronic music in 1977, and made some audio cassette "albums" for distribution to friends. Then I made CD-Rs for distribution to friends. Now, I'm out of friends and must resort to distributing MP3s to strangers.
Your influences?
Yes, Genesis, PFM, Gentle Giant. The usual.
Favorite spot?
Philadelphia
Equipment used:
The "Creation" pieces were done with Cubase SX3. The others were done earlier with Cubase VST 3.1; all saw use of Sound Forge 4.5, a Yamaha SW100XG, a Korg DW-6000, and a Korg MS-20.
