I am an independent studio musician living on Vancouver Island, BC. I have recently set up a home sound studio and have started to experiment with solo flute pieces to start off.
It would be interesting to mix flute tracks with contributions from other SoundClick afficionados.
I like to experiment with jazz, free jazz, contemporary, classical and world music.

Why this name?
The name will be changed to something more snappy shortly (how about The Kiwi Flute Kid?).

Do you play live?
I sometimes play live at conservatory concerts and for local concert bands. Otherwise, I've started to do a lot of sound recording at home since I set up the studio.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
One positive outcome is that we now get to listen to what we want instead of the pre-chosen and constantly repetitious music on commercial radio.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Why, of course.
Your influences?
My main influences are Jean Pierre Rampal, and Marcel Moyse.
Favorite spot?
Victoria, BC, Wellington, NZ and Singapore.
