Damitol is a rock trio proper, comprised of bass, guitar, and drums. Metallic melody cum indie-rock laziness.
Do you play live?
We once graced the stages in the fine cities of Columbia and Myrtle Beah, SC. Mostly at the Hunter-Gatherer and New Brookland Tavern.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
A band can exist outside of the distribution system. We can make the music we want to make (without making millions). . . no. . . wait. . .

Actually, I think it has put the free back in freedom.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Why? Got any money??
Band History:
Forming in the common interest of "music," we strapped on some instruments and rocked out. Beer, bonghits, and the heat-soaked oven of a practice space. We needed lots of Miller High-Life.
Your influences?
Pavement, Meat Puppets, Nirvana, DJ Shadow, Dinosaur Jr, Tortoise, Metal, haters of Metal, Camper Van Beethoven,
Favorite spot?
Hunter-Gatherer, Columbia SC.
Equipment used:
All the music on this page was recorded with a Tascam 4-track, then dumped through a hiss injector and onto a computer.
