I actually am not a "band". I am a songwriter who's been lucky enough to run into some phenomenal musicians and composers. The songs you will listen to on this site are my words given life by some of my favorite people and talented friends. I hope you enjoy!!
Why this name?
my mom and dad gave it to me.
Do you play live?
Only on karioke night and only after a few of those yummy margaritas. That's the thing about tequila, it makes me one helluva singer! (In my own mind!)
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It has opened lots of doors for me. Before the internet, I was writing sappy poetry.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I'd definitely sign a publishing contract...
Your influences?
I like the old stuff, like Dylan and the Beatles, but my biggest inspiration comes from the writers and performers I have a personal relationship with. It's much more meaningful and nothing inspires me like the words of a Friend.
Favorite spot?
The South Atlantic. I love the ocean... but give me a foot of snow, a crackling fire in the fireplace, a glass of good red wine and the arms of a special person and that's as good as any ocean.
