'Sweet, ethereal vocals, married with an engaging creative spirit, creating sonic tapestries of expression....'
Back in the last millenium, I sang in choirs; played flute, piccolo & trumpet in school bands; took up the guitar & started writing folk songs. I studied voice with Luigi Wood, Gary Zeller (Vancouver) & Catherine Lewis (Victoria), and have been fortunate enough to perform with the likes of Pacific Opera Victoria, Western Concert Opera, Vancouver Academy of Music, Theatre under the Stars, Theatrespace, Vancouver Musical Theatre, Victoria Operatic Society, Metro Theatre, & many others.
I just released an indie folk-country album, "Waiting for the Bus," co-written with my friend Michael J Kavanagh. I gig with "Easy", my bluegrass-country-folk trio; I write a variety of musical styles, and I really am enjoying the process of learning to create my own music from scratch.
June 28/06: Saturn's Air and Illuminating Me received Genre Spotlight awards from Mixposure.com!
July 1/06: My entry to the Just Plain Folks Lyric Awards made it to the semi-final - the top 50 out of 500.

June 22/06: I was privileged to sing the Canadian national anthems at the Investiture of the Order of British Columbia (the province's highest honour for outstanding achievement) at Government House located in BC's capital city, Victoria. Lieutenant Governor Iona Camagnolo and BC Premier Gordon Campbell were present. My family is still bragging :lol:
