well joe and jordan were in a biology lesson and we were doing work on the heart and such things.... as you do.
as like we decided it form there pretty simple but hey!

hell yeh we play live and we love it
we will play anywhere anytime just give us a stage to play on and we will play. we mainly gig round the birmingham areas mostly as were from here so its easy fot us to travel to venue to venue!

i think it changes it a hell of a lot cause you can search the whole world for types of music you enjoy and can find new material and talent frommany different bands.

We Are Venacarva, a four piece band from Birmingham in the West Midlands. The band started up in 2003, consisting of 3 original members, a singer, and 2 guitarists. We picked up our delightful bassist and drummer, and for a short period were a malfunctioning 5 piece. The original lead guitarist, due to differences of opinion, left the band, leaving Jack to try and shamble his way along on the guitar, and Vena Carva as you know us today, despite having no name and not much confidence, was born in September 2004.

We had so many band names, it was untrue, and our type of music evolved from our punk roots to indie, to rock and now to a more emo/alternative sound.

The band now consists of four members, front man Jack Weston providing lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Joseph Clay with backing vocals and lead guitar, Jimmi Kirk driving us on on the drums and the diminutive Jordan Plant on bass.

The band have grown in confidence, performing to a wide range of audiences over the last couple of years, and are hoping to make it big in the future. We can but hope.
