Susan, You've Fallen Over
There are two of us. Seperately, we go by the names of 5 of 6 and Father of Syn, but together, we combine our powers and become.. Five of Syn! Er, sorry, Don't Eat Sky.
Why this name?
It's from the popular Teletext games magazine, Digitiser!
Do you play live?
We once played a gig in front of some school children. Actually, now I think about it, it wasn't so much a gig, as all we did was run around, waving our arms about and shouting, in order to scare them away. It was fun, though!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Turkey.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Major label? Nope. We're not selling out! Indie or nothing!
Band History:
Father of Syn, and 5 of 6 are our solo pen names. We've been producing music for about 4 years now, and had been meaning to write something together for most of that time. I guess we were just waiting until we were good enough. Are we, though? Nobody knows that.
Your influences?
Let's see.. I guess Cornelius, Ladytron, Bis and Hybrid have all provided some inspiration.
Favorite spot?
Upstairs in Waterstones, Guildford. They've got a seat by the window, and everything!
Equipment used:
FL Studio 6, and assorted VSTi synths. We recently added a Korg Electribe SX to our arsenal, as well, which should play a part in our forthcoming songs. Look forward to it!
