Why this name?
I've been called Stevie since childhood and the Cee is the first initial of my last name.
Do you play live?
I love performing whenever & wherever I can...I have toured many places, Maine, Arizona, Europe and Australia. Have had the great pleasure of performing on the Louise Mandrell Theatre Stage in Pigeon Forge Tennessee once, along with several locations in Nashville. At this time I have been doing alot of things around my home state of Maine.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet does give Independent artists a chance to get their songs heard by many. Keeps us in touch faster and it reaches the world. Looks like the digital age is here.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I'm not sure...I like being an Independent. I have met many very talented Independent Artist in my travels and there are some advantages to being an Indie.
Band History:
I started my Country Music career about 10 years ago now, when I entered a local competition. Had no idea what I was getting into, but I have always loved entertaining folks and making them smile. I won the top honor of the day that year, Modern Male Entertainer...and from there it's been up up and away! I have enjoyed this journey very much.
Your influences?
I grew up on oldies, Rock'n'Roll, stuff like Bobby Darin & some Louie Armstrong, but I love the country music & style of Toby Keith,Alan Jackson, Mark Chestnut & Merle Haggard.
Favorite spot?
I've traveled many places around the USA and the world, but I'd have to say my favorite so far is Australia...a wonderful country and the people are fantastic! If I ever have the chance I will return to Australia!
Anything else...?
I'm livin' & lovin' a Country Music Dream..traveling, having my songs played on radio stations around the world and on internet stations (the new wave), it's great! I'll keep on my trek as long as there are fans of country music out there listening. Thank you all!
