46 year-old wanna-be singer-songwriter (guitar - about 9 years, singing and songwriting, about 7 years).
Why this name?
There is nothing like the sight of a crystal clear, blue sky. It's something I've identified with since I was a kid.
Do you play live?
I try to play live once in a while (i.e. open mics - mostly in Greenwich Village in NYC); but its hard given other great things in life (the family) and not-so-great, necessary things in life (job).
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Music for all!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Absolutely.
Band History:
History? Let's see - yeah, um, "Blue Sky was formed nearly six years ago with the purchase of a Taylor guitar (Feb. 2002). Been learning since and having quite a good time.
Your influences?
Everything from classical, to easy listening, to metal, 70's-90's hardrock, pop, blues, and country.
Favorite spot?
Curled up on the sofa with the Mrs.

Taylor T5 Standard, Taylor 314ces Ltd. Koa acoustic, Gibson LP studio electric, Aria AS100S, Fender Jazz Bass, Octava mics, Presonus preamps, Yamaha Aw16G recorder/mixer.
