It's just two of us that are the core. All our studio work (asuming that the PC in the bedroom is a studio) is recorded by yours truly and the keyboards player Plamen. He also plays bass sometimes and drums.
The interesting thing is that we both play in two different bands but the members are the same. RockLord is about more serious kind of stuff while DISTORED (yes, spelling is intended) is about humor, quite ugly I must say, but yet amusing to some. Apart of that, I have almost finished my solo album, which I hope to share with the Net as soon as possible.
Rock on!
Why this name?
RockLord - because we wanted a name that would suit our music. We couldn't settle for just one style of rock. Trash, hard, metal, prog, electronic, jazzy, or all of that mixed together...
And besides, sounds really cool in my ears.
Do you play live?
Oh, yeah. It's my belief that rock must be live as often as possible. We usually gether friends and jam, but since we play mostly in apartment buildings there are many listeners that we are unaware of.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's not good for the industry, I mean you google and get music for free, but it's great for the music. Band like us may or may not find a producer, but we CAN be heard. And that's the point.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Why not?
Band History:
5 years of playing here and there, a lot of fun and only one ugly night when everyone was drunk, but that's in the past. Drinking's good but gettinh drunk - hell no!
Your influences?
We're big fans of Dream Theater, Steve Vai, Deep Purple, Whitesnake, Pink Floyd, Rainbow, The Doors, Metallica, of course, Bon Jovi and so on.
Favorite spot?
None.
Anything else...?
Rock, rock, rooooooooock!!!
