Darque Carnival, which includes Pasquale Zagari (guitar), Rick Brenner (drums), Isaac Harris (vocals), and Tim MacDonald (bass) came together in May of 1999. Since that time Darque Carnival has played over 100 shows with such acts as Dope, Testament, 40 Grit, Deeds of Flesh, Nile, December, Witchery, Pissing Razors and dozens more! Besides the music that Darque Carnival plays, DC has a show rich in theatrics, including a 6'8" firebreathing vocalist. The band hits the stage in a wash of candles, skulls, lights, and even a ten foot spinning ferris wheel which includes skulls for baskets. Darque Carnival tours throughout the west coast (primarily Northern California) so if you ever get the chance to see a DC show be prepaired to be taken for a ride with the Carnival!!!! New album in stores soon! Check www.darquecarnival2.com for details.
Why this name?
I was not in the band at the time but I understand that it has something to do with ICP who we sound nothing like nor care to.
Do you play live?
All over the West Coast as of now. We will be hitting the Midwest and East Coast in 2005-2006 in support of our new album All For Naught.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
A band in a small town or small region can become an internationally heard band. We have many hits from all over the world!!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Are you kidding? Yes. Who wouldn't?
