Beavis and Butthead taught us all a valuable lesson when they tried to capture on tape the cause of the phenomenon known as "morningwood." Unfortunately we were too busy sniffing glue to remember it. I think the lesson was, "take the lens cap off the camera." Anyway, we thought that little tinkerbell fairy was hot and she used her magic wand to give those cartoon faggots raging boners. Plus we thought it sounded pretty, like a retirement home.

Of course we play live. What sort of self respecting band doesn't get trashed and suck in front their audience. We've played like 50 gigs in the 4 years we've been band, so like, they're all special. We just can't remember that we were even at half of them. Our lives are basically an alcoholic blur.

Mp3 and file sharing definitely robs people of lots and lots of money. So we're all for it. Plus it makes it really easy to get free porno movies. DSL BABY YEAH!

A record contract is the foremost goal of this band, right after gang banging the Olsen twins and becoming VH1 storytellers.

morningwood formed in 2001 in La Vernia, Tx. We haven't made history yet, but the music will speak for itself.

We listen to so much stuff its hard to pinpoint any direct influences. Maybe if you took some bloodhound gang green day type stuff and gg allin'ed it up a little, gave it a shot of punk with a ska reggae twist and a little umbrella and then chased it with a STP, Toadies, 311 frozen with some country rock salt, you'd be nice and drunk enough to not give a damn what we sounded like.

All of our music is genetically engineered from sheep DNA. That requires test tubes and petri dishes and incubators and all sorts of beakers and eye droppers. Hey, they should use that sheep DNA to clone us a girlfriend.
