I have been recording now for a couple years on/off as it is hard when I am on the boat. I have been learning more this year, new equipment (mikes and preamp) and new software makes for alot of mistakes but what the hell it is fun, right?? New stuff is here but not the final mix, the CD is done and awaiting duplication. I have most of another CD of instramentals done which I hope to somehow figure out how to sell a few for commercials.
Why this name?
It is the name of my boat which I live on
Do you play live?
I've been doing a solo now for awhile, use a "looper" and it gives me a full sound for a single.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
incredible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
maybe if the offer was right
Band History:
played in many different bands through the years, kind of quit while the kids were growing up, both kids play music and I've played with them as a 3 piece, one of my biggest thrills was doing an annual concert in our area with them, my son was 8 when he started playing drums on thoes gigs
Favorite spot?
UP of michigan, where I am now until the water isn't as hard and I can put my boat back in the water
Equipment used:
nothing fancy, laptop, mackie board, Laney amp, takamine acoustics & Gibson Les Paul and a Schecter Banshee electric, Washburn bass. I use Cubase studio 4 software, several AT mikes (favorite AT 4060)
