I'm not really a band but a singer songwriter. I do enjoy performing, but my main ambition is to get my songs published but if not at least heard. If anyone wants to collaborate with me or use any of my songs please contact me
Why this name?
Not without drama. My Grandfarther was badly knocked about in Gallipoli (Thanks Winston!)and was repatriated as a man without any memory or idenification. Some bright spark on the hostpital ship decided to call him George (after the King) and Smith (as the most likely real name). That's how I'm a Smith!
Do you play live?
I've played live in the odd band, and acoustic session also a few shows with the Shirley Guitar Society
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Well this is just a hobby for me but it's great that you have sites like this

To many to list but if pushed the Beatles, Crowded House, Sprinsteen, Neil Young are right up there

I've been writing songs in my head literally since I can talk, but on guitar since I was 15. I have hendreads and have forgotten a good few. I'm currently going through my backlog with a view to poutting as much as possible on this site
