Thunderstorm is a Brain storm of Chris Hatley, all through these years, Some times members come and members go, just like in any relationship, until something knew comes along, and the friends and family you thought was, went away yesterday and left you out in the rain.
Why this name?
Back in 1976, every time we would play outside it would rain, so I decided to change the name of the band from, "Skull" to Thunderstorm.
Do you play live?
Yes I do! Right now I have a new drummer, bass player, and guitar player, working real hard learning songs so we can get started playing live again!.......We're Back!!
All these years has had its ups, and downs but wouldn't trade them for nothing

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it is cool, to be heard around the world
An I think it is a good thing

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I sure would, I would love to write songs for major bands, and sound tracks for movies, TV and Radio ads. But I write about my life through my eye's and I only know what I dream. Record contract with a major label is just a dream of many and most will remain dreams or empty promises, and some I have lived. The rest is out there waiting!
Your influences?
All music has influences on everyone, alittle of everything and then some, even songs you might not like. But my main influences are people in my life. Friends or family or TV shows, and people I don't even know, what ever they do or say to me has an influence on what I write.
Favorite spot?
Anywhere there is peace, and my guitar cause it has never let me down or cheated on me. It has always been there through thick and thin, a true friend to the end!
But sitting under a tree in a summer breeze playing my guitar, in a park after dark with someone special sure sounds good to me.

Equipment used:
Washburn KC-40 6 string guitar with Korg A4 processer, washburn and fender bass guitars.
Recorded the rythem guitar and drums on a Boss BR-8 recorder then downloaded that on to Cakewalk 9, then ripped the wav file to a mp3 on Musicmatch Jukebox, but most was done on a 4 track tape recorder.
