My name was given to me many years ago . It's short for Wheels of Steel .

I DJ at a wide variety of venues . I love doing shows . Some special moments I've had were being able to open up DJing for Talib Kweli, Erykah Badu, Dead Prez, and The Pharcyde to name a few (thanks to my man Profile) .

The internet has changed the music industry by making everything more accessable and it has taken networking to new heights .

It depends who , why , and how they approach me .

I started DJing more than a decade ago and beat making naturally came soon after . I had a group called ILLType that I produced & did cuts for in upstate New York . ILLType was part of a collective known as Type:Official that now features artists : Broadway, Nittie Jux & DJ Majic .

Daily life mostly . But as far as artists go I appreciate Pete Rock, GangStarr, Jay Dee, Madlib, Mobb Deep, De La Soul, Frank Zappa . . . . the list could go on & on .

Working on music .

I use a set of Tech 1200's, a Vestax mixer, an MPC 2000, and a ton of vinyl .
