IN keeping with hallowe'en? In any case, as with most of your work very impressive. The music captures that Russian doll effect as the skeleton key opens door after door box after box. Layer upon layer.

This is insanely good!!! Love the 'slightly' atonal keys in the intro section. And then the fat rhodes and horn.So full of masterfully suprises on every instrument entering the tune. And the sax-work in the last section! No breath-control ever made by man can emulate that. Fantastic runs here.
Am in the forth play now and it yust getting better and better.

Amazing and masterful piece! And very inspiring aswell!!

Wow, just amazingly magnificent music. Some of the best keyboard work I've heard from you Al (2:45 & 4:06). Combined with some ethereally blown sax lines (1:14), great bridge at 3:33, and the king-of-the-hill sax work starting at 4:17. Cool outro. Complex arrangement and super production.

Of course I discovered this one as well. First of all, I have to listen to the intro twice. It feels like a thriller somehow, where very much is happening and at the same time it's attracting and very mysterious.

And then, at 1:03, another part starts. Still I feel a mist around it, and in that mist I recognize your sax and your tension and that kind of nervously. It feels like in the middle of an action film where anything could happen.

Around 3:40 something is changing and it becomes very electronical and more Jazzy somehow. Sax is joining, but then everything is fading away.

I'm just reading Spin has got the same, like "we want more".
Really, such a catchy and thrilling start......

Listening a second time, I think, maybe that ending is making this track just stronger, leaving so many questions to the listener.

This is very strong, anyway. Full of rhythms and instruments, moods and impressions.

And the end. I don't know. You're the master.
Leaving questions or an uncomfortable feeling at the end, can be the strength for me and on the other hand, to have a comfortable feeling, it could have continued for me.

Very interesting anyway, and somehow different from your basic style for me. A strong inspiration, exciting. Something to come back to, and just push the play button again.

A suspenseful start with mysterious synth sounds, but then drums and a wonderful bass line turning the tune into a hot Jazz-Fusion. Much dynamic (energy as Bill wrote) and a supreme coloration coming from the variety of the instruments used.... I was impressed from the Rhodes solo at 2:46 (again at 4:03) WOW what brillant keyboard works....!! smile :)

Icing on the cake: the latin percussions and (not least) the cool Sax runs at the end. Pity, I had really loved to listen to more of that kind.....Ok, I hit the play button once again now.... wink ;) wink ;)

Gratulate to this new master piece Mr. Jazzy-Al!!

I dig that creepy start but then with a twist of a (skeleton) key it turns into extraordinary high energy jazz. Fantastic arrangement and immaculate sound, with lots of detail to keep me coming back for another listen. Three cheers for Al!
