Formed in Oneonta in 2004, Indra will become the leading Alternative Punk/Metal Emo-rock band in the market. With influences from Sevendust, Him and old punk rock to Brand New and Hard Rock, Indra mixes and matches and actually comes out with something more than crap.

Why this name?
Theres a sex position called "Wife of Indra" We thought it was cool, but looked up Indra and found out its the supreme god, kind of like Zeus.
Do you play live?
We're in the midst of writing good material and getting gigs up in the Oneonta/Binghamton area. All members have played live in their respected pre-Indra careers.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It brings out alot of kids and bands to the media, rather than the F-ed up markets of today. DOwnload AWAY!!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Sure, if the deal was right..lots of touring!

Sevendust, Earth Crisis, Killswitch Engage, My Chemical Romance, Underoath, Finger Eleven, Brand New, H.I.M, Linkin Park, Your Mom, Michael Jackson (only as a performer), Your Grandma, Taking Back Sunday, Weezer, AFI, Victor Wooten, THE Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, David Bowie, polka bands, nose floutists and of course, bagpipe players..

Oneonta WOO HOO!....not really. Any place that will have us. Oh yeah, Long ISland, Syracuse, and Binghamton ROCK!
