Gifted and talented musician Lonnie Devon Dawkins, founder of 2Sharp, LLC, has been playing piano and arranging music since a very young age. His parents, Evangelist L. D. Dawkins Jr. and Elder Vordia L. Dawkins recognized and cultivated Lonnie's talents when he was youngster and as he grew into adulthood. As a teenager, he began to direct area church choirs and became a minister of music at New Mount Zion Baptist Church, Gaffney South Carolina and later the Washington Missionary Baptist Church, Waco, North Carolina.
During his career, he has traveled extensively and shared the bill with other well known singers around North and South Carolina. He was the director of the Seeds of Abraham, a community choir which he organized. Also he is a former gospel radio announcer for Hope Broadcasting at WFGN, 1180 AM, Gaffney, South Carolina. Even though there were times when his music had to be put on hold, due to other job constraints, Lonnie held on to the visions which God had instilled in his life.
