Hello there, we're Susan and Bellend, the celebrated penultimate progressive post apocalypse jazz band / childrens' entertainment unit, and you're listening to soundclick.com!
Why this name?
SUSAN: We named each other. It came about by chance, I addressed Eric with the word "knobhead" and he misheard this as "Bellend". He seemed to take quite a fancy to the name, and as a result kindly bestowed upon me the marvellous "Susan" moniker. We were quite drunk.
Do you play live?
BELLEND: Do we play live? (Laughs) Why, my dear boy! This is how we got into showbuisness in the first place! We're positively famous for our live shows!
SUSAN: I think our best show was the final leg of our '96 farewell tour at the Royal Albert Hall
BELLEND: Oh yes, that was splendid. We were quite drnk.
SUSAN: Of course, at the time we thought it really was our last gig; but after a seven year interregnum, we spectacularly reformed in Durham, England, at the albeit unlikely venue of Van Mildert College's Jam Night - which we continue to headline on occassion.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
BELLEND: Have you got 20p for me bus fare? You see, me mam's left her keys in her house and she's locked out and my granddad's in prison.
SUSAN: I think the internet is nice.
BELLEND: I like cake.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
SUSAN: Already have, dear!
BELLEND: We're absolutely minted. We're currently signed to a £4.5 million contact to EMI, - and we'd do it again! Do you have that 20p mate?

Band History:
SUSAN: We can't remember, we were quite drunk for the best part of our formative process. And the rest of it.
BELLEND: It'll be written down in one of our biographies, but I can't be arsed reading them, I'm too important to spend my time reading, even if it's about myself. We're stars!
SUSAN: Anyway, I'm more interested in our fully deserved marvellous future, and I'd like to make a toast to our new member, Mark Wegner. Hurrah!
BELLEND: I concurr. We were originally going to rename the band "Susan, Bellend and Mark Wegner", but Susan suggested that it would be simpler if we renamed Mark as "And", and kept our original name, and that is what we have done.

Your influences?
SUSAN: I'm currently into MC KevNoize McVicar, and the new DJ Tortiose record. Although I thought their first album was much better...
BELLEND: Tennis.
BELLEND: Tennis.
Favorite spot?
BELLEND: The hill. No! The field...
Equipment used:
SUSAN: We're all so talented that we regularly swap instruments. The important thing is that the instruments are stolen.
Anything else...?
Bellend: Have you got that 30p?
