Never Happened To Me
Out of Nothing is a one man acoustic emo/rock project. It's me, my Ovation Celebrity, Takamine G, and Dean Performer bass. Occasionally my Hohner harmonica and my Grimmel brothers piano might show up.
Why this name?
It has a few meanings, to come out of nothing or to create something out of nothing. It also means to be out of nothing, lacking nothing. Except maybe in my mind.
Do you play live?
I don't play live...yet.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Ummm...yeah.
Band History:
I've tried to start bands a million times. There's just not many musicians around here who are into the same thing as I am (it's mostly punk and nu-metal), so I decided to go it alone.
Your influences?
Dashboard Confessional, Bright Eyes, Jimmy Eat World, Stavesacre, My Dying Bride, Weezer, Dave Matthews Band, Goo Goo Dolls, The Get Up Kids, A Perfect Circle, Ben Kweller, Incubus, Switchfoot, Johnny Cash, and pretty much everything I've ever listened to and liked.
