We've played live once (at a party) so far, but should be playing out more in the coming year.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The music industry will still continue to churn out crap and radio stations will continue to force the stuff down unwitting listeners' throats. Rap-Metal, Shitney Spears, New Backstreet Boys on the Block. But the MP3 format and the internet gives the little guys more chances to get music that is actually thought provoking and interesting in front of people who otherwise would never hear of it.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No. Well, maybe.

Avoidance Theory's sound is influenced by many artists: Elliott Smith, the Beatles, Lou Barlow, Pavement, Belle and Sebastian, Hayden, East River Pipe, Velvet Underground, REM, Yo La Tengo, Guided By Voices, Galaxie 500, Hayden, Palace Brothers, Lambchop, Leonard Cohen, Radiohead... among others.
