DDB created 2 deep and produces the albums for the rest of the crew. currently he has 2 cd's and 2 deep has just put out Strictly Bizness the newest member of the crew. Its a group that has a different flava then the rest of rap. DDB comes outta Cali and the rest of the possee is currently outta NY.

Why this name?
2 Deep comes from DDB and the other original founder of the group YG. When they were workin on their first cd they had to come up with a name and since it was the two of them 2 deep worked. plus its a play on words and has many meanings.
Do you play live?
DDB got some notariety doin freestyles..thats what 2 deep was originally just freestylin. there haven't been any real shows tho and 2 deep would be fully down to perform if someone wants us to.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet may be bad for established rappers because they loose sales due to the online dowloads. but for people starting out like us its the best thing because its an easy way to get your stuff out there and get a feeling of what people think of you before you commit too much to something.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
We's be fully down with a major contract we think we are capable of putting out some sh*** that people really feel, not the run of the mill bullshit that rappers put out today.

2 pac, biggie, bone, mobb deep, kurupt... the list goes on there are a lot of rappers on the east and the west i could put on here
