Why this name?
I just thought it would be the easiest thing just using my name. It's hard to find a good name

We tour constantly.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
We think it levels the playing field for all musicians doing it on their own. Now the record companies have to reconsider their position in the grand scheme of things.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes! That is my next step.
Band History:
The official home for singer, songwriter, producer Eric Knight. Eric released his debut album "Near Life Experience" in 1998. In 1999 he opened for the Dave Matthews Band and most recently in 2000 KISS on their final farewell tour. Eric has also just released the video for "Play On Words" the lead track from "Near Life Experience". Look for the video on the Box, M2, Much Music, IMNTV & MTV Latino. Come visit Eric's website @ www.ericknightband.com. In 2002 Eric is currently working on the followup to Near Life Experience to be out hopefully towards the end of 2002.
