Kaltekult can broadly be described as Industrial, but their influences are far ranging, from EBM and powernoise to synthpop and industrial metal, they all come together to make the whole. Couple this with an unhealthy interest in all things dark and malevolent, and you arrive at the next logical port of call.....KalteKult
Why this name?
KalteKult is a play on words, Kalte, meaning Cold in German. Its a harsh word, but in its own way, quite beautiful, just like winter itself,
Do you play live?
We will consider all offers!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
it makes it a whole lot harder to stand out from the crowd, with so many bands able to get themselves heard all over the world at the touch of a button.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
if it meant we could make a living doing something we loved, then who in the right mind would say no?
Your influences?
NIN, Skinny Puppy, Rammstein, Gary Numan, Marilyn Manson, VNV Nation, Funker Vogt, Feindflug to name but a few..
Favorite spot?
Tideswell, the Cathedral of the peak..
