My original band name was Deebo2K4. I chose that name because my high school graduation year was 2004. But not it is 2005, so putting 2K4 in my name wouldn't make sense. So I put 2X4. 2 times 4 is 8. And 2008 is my next graduation year (hopefully) lol! And thats how I got it.

Our interest for making music began somewhere around winter/spring 2004. It all started off when me and my cuz made a song representing 1 Tym Ent. (our lil group we had back then). It wasnt serious or anything, just for fun. Then we played it at a party. Seemed like everyone liked it, hahah. Then me and a few friends from highschool, 2K4 Productions, wanted to make some music after hearing my 1 Tym song. We would begin so many songs but never finish them. At this time we weren't making any beats, just using others. Then I graduated, and lost touch with a couple of them. But I still did collaborations with J-Rik. During the summer, my interest for this died. Then J-Rik moves to Cali and starts producing beats, therefore encouraging me to start producing again. Now I make beats and flow with them along with collaborations with J-Rik.
