My Name is Trufa and I'm a hip-hop music beatmaker. I wanna become a PRODUCER so I can help my family out with their financial problems and other problems we have. I also wanted to become one because I love music. I love hip-hop. I just love the beats!
Why this name?
I chose my name by promising that whatever i spit is gonna be the truth cause im an honest person. So i was thinkin truth, and then i just added the a to na sound lame and got Trufa.
Do you play live?
I dont play live but I work with my beats at home and go to the studio sometimes.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I gives artists out there trying to get out there a chance to show people online that they can make good music.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes i would. I would like to be a producer for a major hip-hop label. I would accept anything for now, but my top goal is to reach Roc-a-fella Records.
Your influences?
One of my idols sort of is Kanye West. I like Kanye's beats because he has nice ill drums on his beats and he uses samples from old songs to make beats also. I also like Just Blaze because he practically does the same as Kanye. Most of the time, I make beats like them, with the chipmunk in my beats.
Favorite spot?
I love New York City because everyday is an adventure. I dont like travelin much.
