Archaios is a Melodic Death Metal band that takes place in Dominican Republic.
Why this name?
In the beggining we had a different name but it was already taken by so many bands that we had to change it, and the change was good because of the concept that we had then, it fits perfectly to what we have in mind now.
Do you play live?
Yes, we do play live. We play in the Dominican Republic, and we can´t find anything more rewarding than playing live
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Well, i think it is definetly a must in today´s music, since there are countries that don´t have the chance to see certain types of bands come and play, or even sell their music in their ground, like D.R. for example. And it helps a lot when your an unknown band.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
yep, most definetly, yes
Your influences?
Our influences go from Cannibal Corpse, Hypocrisy, Blind Guardian, Death, to some black metal bands and other styles of music as well.

Equipment used:
Line6 Amplification, and Ibanez guitars mostly.
