daves i know started off as a rap group called white chocolate. after recording a cover of simon's acoustic song 'popularity' and the success of the 'white chocolate Christmas ep' in 2003 the band decided to make the transition to straight up pop rock. in 2004 they released the critically aclaimed 'white chocolate Christmas special'. no longer a rap group, white chocolate decided they needed a new name. and thus, we have the birth of daves i know.
