I'm a keyboard player who loves to compose music. I am currently using Logic software and a JV 1010 sythesizer. My music is "jazz-ish' with a hint of "new age." Any constructive comments are welcome!
Do you play live?
I have played piano at restaurants and parties and a few years ago at Nordstroms. Most of gigs these days are with the middle school jazz combos I lead at Miller Creek Middle School, where I am a science teacher.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Muscians can listen to every type of music 24 hours a day. Anyone with a minimum of equipment can compose quality demos and share them with the world.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Verve and RCA are negotiating a major contract right now...

Favorite spot?
I love the Bay Area, where I live.
Equipment used:
I use Logic software. My keyboard is a Yamaha PF 100 keyboard, and I occasionally use a Roland JV-1010 synth module. My final mixes and some of the recording was done separately on Pro Tools.
