This company is an independent business that distributes its music on a one-on-one basis. In the Intrigue U Family, there is a spirit of love and unity that means more than just mere music. Intrigue U Records Music is more than party hit`s and rump-shaker sounds that everyone can groove to, it`s music for the soul. Behind the strong will of each Intrigue U family member, set in place is a marketing plan, quality-sounding music and integrity. Intrigue U Records will be an empire of its own era.
With 2 hot videos and and DVD documentary out Intrigue U Records is claiming it's territory in the music world. Always on the move with new artist being added to label and doing new things with other labels, it won't be long before Intrigue U Records be a power house label in the industry.

Why this name?

The Clique and I all aim to Intrigue U, and that is our goal.

Do you play live?

Yes all over San Diego, LA and Las Vegas. We do plan on expanding our talent throughout the US and even taking it International.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

I think it helps you get alot more exsposure for alot less money.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Yes, of course if it was presented to us and terms where agreed on both sides.

Band History:

Intrigue U Records was founded in 1998, based in San Diego, CA. At the time, the label consisted of my brother, K.C., and myself, GEE. K.C. is the Producer of the company and I`m the President/CEO, my cousin Gregg (BigBoy) Curl is the VP and head of Promotions. I wanted to see if we could really put out a CD, and it was easy. We started recruiting for the label to give it more flavor. Most of the artists with Intrigue U Records are family, so we have a lot of fun working together. There currently are several artists signed with Intrigue U Records, including K.C., who is the Producer and brother of the owner, as well as 2 Eleven & King Tut, who are K.C. and GEE`s cousins, and Kali, James Ray and Manajae, who are friends of the family. Our first single, "Ain`t No Stopping," was released in 1999, and sold very well. The second was "It`s My Turnâ€쳌, released in 2000. CD`s, "The Compilation" and "Soul Searchinâ€™" which dropped on June 1, 2001 did amazingly well.

DJ Quick, Ice Cube, Dr Dre, Russel Simmons and the whole flava of hip hop.

Favorite spot?

San Diego but we do like other places.
