Wassup??? This the home of your boy flame straight outta peg city. I`m glad y'all stopped by to check out what I have to offer. I'm trying to move towards bigger and better things and appreciate your support. I hope to start my own record company when I finish university. I`ll keep praying to God and hopefully he answers. Until then peace and much love. peace

P.S. To contact me e-mail me at cmrflame@hotmail.com or on myspace at www.myspace.com/morefyarecordz
Why this name?
In The D12 song "Pistol Pistol" Proof (R.I.P.) has a line that goes something like "People call me flame because I spit fire". At least that`s what I think he says. Anyway I liked the concept and it just kinda stuck with me. So now whenever I tell people my name is fLaMe they say like "oh that means you gon spit fire then, right?"
Do you play live?
Just at parties and in school. It`s fun but I wanna hit the stage. My best moment would have to be in high school when I was freestyling with a friend and people started gathering around to listen to me and then we just freestyled for like 3-4 hours and everybody was talking about me for weeks. Even saying we should go in the studio together. I never get big-headed but it made me feel good as an artist that people were actually feeling what I was spitting. It just motivated me to grow as an artist.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Money wise it hurts because industries lose money from people who decide to download albums instead of buying them. Don`t get me wrong I download songs but if I like them enough I`ll buy the cd. On the other hand it can help aspiring artists like me to get my music out to a wider audience. Because of sites like soundclick people all over the world can hear my music and decide what they think of it.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Oh Yeah. I mean I`d like to finish university first so I`ll have something to fall back on just in case I don`t do as well as I think I can but I`d never turn down a deal because those are the people who will help me to get my creativity heard.
Band History:
- started writing in October of 2000. Went by the name Youngblood
- started spitting a few months later
- found out there already was a rapper named Youngblood. changed name to Lil Headbusa (mad stupid)
- Changed Style. Changed name to flame.
- almost got signed with local label Bonafide end of 2003/beginning of 2004 but nothing really jumped off
- Promotin my music on myspace and tryin to do some collabos.
Your influences?
I have too many. I`ll try to name some off top. Slick Rick, Kane, Eminem, Jay-Z, Nas, Rakim, 2Pac, Biggie, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Kanye West, Fabolous, G-Unit, Juvenile, Kardinal Offishall, Mobb Deep, Royce Da 5'9". There`s so many but I can`t think of them all right now.
Favorite spot?
The booth because I can always let out anything inside of me. Whether it`s happiness, heartbreak, agression, etc. I can always go in the booth and come out feeling great. It`s like music is a friend that I can talk to about anything.
Equipment used:
A Microphone and a Beat.
Anything else...?
If you check out my tracks please leave feedback and i`ll do the same for you. And if y'all want to collabo hit me up and cmrflame@hotmail.com or on myspace . peace out
