Why this name?
My name is Janell but most people know me as Lace.
Do you play live?
I have played out before in TN and I loved it. My most memorable moment was the first time on stage and was asked to play "one more". I also play live on Paltalk and occasionally at www.the-spotlightradio.com.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Well, if it were not for the internet, I wouldn't be signing up for this page. It's all about being heard and there are millions of people on the internet listening.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, if the offer was right for my situation.

I'm solo right now but am thinking seriously of getting a band together... any offers?
Your influences?
Folk, Rock... I grew up on all kinds of music. Guthrie, Hendrix, Joplin, Croce, BOC, Eagles, AC/DC... Not to mention Mom's influence of Jazz and Symphony and Dad with his country... geeze... too many to name
