I am a solo artist under my own label LockDown Records as well as an engineer and producer.
Why this name?
I choose the name Jaysouljah to represent the characteristics of myself hence jaysouljah
Do you play live?
I perform live its definatly fun to do. .
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I beleive it does it allows people who don't have the oppertunity to get their music heard get their music heard.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Of course who wouldn't

Lets see my musical influences are those people who took the initiative to suceed in the music industry hence all music artist.
